Madison (my tot) and I have a goal to meet 365 Moms & their tots.

Tot Mom #1

Carmen, Cole, & Aiden — Dynamic Trio

Carmen is a stay at home mom who traded in her fast paced sales career to take care of her adorable twin boys full time. Being an alumni of UNCG, she actually started out in the art of theater. In speaking with this tot mom of two, it is easy to see how her fun, outgoing, and charismatic personality would fit theater. Carmen’s laid back demeanor immediately puts others at ease and makes you feel as if you have known her for years.

Aiden (Aidey J or Ace) and Cole (Cole T or Deuce) are little firecrackers on the go constantly. This pair definitely fit the saying, “boys will be boys”. They can jump, run, and play like nobodies business, which keeps their mommy quite busy. One place they love to go is babygarten held in a local church on Saturday mornings. They get to play, learn, and make crafts. The boys also enjoy going to Discovery Place or any local park where they can stretch their legs and get the wiggles out.

During our conversation, Carmen lit up as she spoke of her twin boys and how they were challenging and rewarding all at the same time. One story in particular, she was all dressed up for an evening with the girls and Aiden wanted his mommy to hold him. Once she picked him up, let’s just say he marked his territory like a little puppy.  She went on to say, “The hardest thing about being a twin tot mom is I never feel like I have enough hands to keep up. The best thing , though, I’ve wanted to be a mommy since I was a little girl, practicing with a basketball under my shirt. My dream has finally come true!”
