Amy is originally from Chicago and attended Depauw University in Indiana. Her husband, Lucas, attended Ohio State and of course he is very proud of that fact. They met in Chicago one year after college and have been together 9 1/2 years and married for 5 years this June. Amy worked as a medical assistant in North Western Hospital, until she and her husband (Lucas) moved to Charlotte. Lucas got a job for Lowes and they both wanted a change, so they decided to move before starting a family. She worked at Huntersville Elementary and JV Washam Elementary prior to having her babies. Amy wanted to be a stay at home mom so she could enjoy her little ones. Shopping, hanging out with girlfriends, and photography are among the many mommy activities this beautiful blonde loves to do. She also likes working out at Kadi fitness, where she and Jocelyn (Tot Mom #7) shake their booties in Kardio Dance and release their inner Britney Spears. Amy is filled with energy and pizazz. If I had to sum up her character in one word — FUN.
Her babies, Reese and Max, take after their momma. Reese is 3 1/2 years old, going on 15. She was running around with her adorable blonde ponytail whipping back and forth as she chased the boys. Maxwell is 6 1/2 months old and he giggled and gooed the entire time we were at the park. Reese’s nickname is ‘Pie’ and Maxwell is either Max for short, or ‘welly’. Reese goes to Davidson United Methodist Church preschool and loves it. Of course she would, little Miss Diva has tons of friends. Her favorite things to do are going to parks and lunch. In fact, Reese coordinated the last lunch date for her mommy and their friends. Watch out Amy, you’re girl is going to be a force to be reckoned with when she actually turns 15.
Amy said the hardest thing about being a Tot Mom is making time for herself and spending time with her husband as a couple. The best thing is that every day is different and she absolutely loves getting to spend this precious time with her children.
